I think Mo Farah will beat the 45:15 record this year; you just wait and see, that guy is in form! To give you guys the heads up; the Great South Run will be on the 23rd October for the 2011 race so put that date in your diaries.

Update – I annoyed someone today who was sitting in the aisle seat with a spare window seat next to him. He tried ignoring me pretending he was listening to music but I persevered and got my window seat, plus he kept glowering at me and taking every opportunity to pretend that he really needed two seats (he wasn’t fat).

She should have stood her ground… I would have, in fact I take great pleasure in asking “important” businesspeople to move their bags off seats.

In fairness to him, if he boarded before Northampton, the seat probably wasn’t reserved, but that would have changed when they got to northampton. Did she not check the sign and show her ticket?

The one thing I always find that is missing from these maps aroudn sport is the mixture of timeline and geography.

Sport events progress over a number of days or weeks and plotting the data on a daily basis and it would be good to be able to navigate by hours or days to see how the story has progressed.

Just saturating a map with content, without a time perspective, isn’t helping us tell stories better than we have been.
