A new nose: Day 5

The stitches are out but the protective cast has to stay on for at least another week.

After a visit to the consultant today, Mr Mark Simmons decided that although the healing process is coming along nicely it would be safest to keep the cover on for a bit longer.

Which means that we're all going to have to wait at least another seven days before we see the nose underneath!

Still, as you can see, the bruising and swelling are quickly subsiding now and the painkillers are getting used less so things are definitely on the right track.
